The annual WASFAA conference is a unique training and professional development opportunity that will equip Financial Aid Administrators (FAA) with the tools necessary to better serve students and families. Rebecca Flake, Higher Education Services Advisor, presented on “Federal Laws on Sharing Student Data – A Navigational Guide for Financial Aid Offices and Officers” during the conference.

The National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools’ (NASASPS) mission is to improve and promote effective state regulation of private postsecondary education.

EASFAA 2018 Annual Conference – Bolton Landing, NY
The EASFAA Conference provides valuable, updated information on the student aid programs. Cooley Higher Education Services Advisor, Marjorie Arrington presented on “PEERx® Best Practices for Implementing Effective Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program (DAAP)” during the conference.

NACUA Annual Conference – Minneapolis, MN
The NACUA Annual Conference focuses on current issues and legal developments in the field of higher education law. Plenary sessions address challenges in the field, while panel and small discussion sessions focus on specific issues of importance to higher education lawyers and their institutions. Partner, Mike Goldstein, will be speaking on two panels during the conference.

The NASFAA National Conference is the premier event serving the student financial aid community. Student aid professionals from across the nation attend the NASFAA National Conference each year to teach, learn, network, and share best practices. Marjorie Arrington, Higher Education Services Advisor, will be participating on a panel discussion during the conference entitled, “It Did Not Go As Expected: Audit Findings and Developing Corrective Action Plans.”
